Job Overview

As a Staff Nurse at North Walsham Ward you will provide high-quality care in a 24 bed rehabilitation unit. You will support patients recovering from medical surgical or orthopaedic treatment and may also provide palliative and end-of-life care. You will report to the Ward Manager and work closely with therapy and medical teams in a collaborative patient-focused environment

Main Duties of the Job

• Deliver and coordinate care for a named group of patients
  
  

• Work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
  
  

• Support unit and Trust goals and objectives proactively
  
  

• Follow recognised policies protocols and clinical guidelines
  
  

• Participate in training supervision and skill development including venepuncture catheterisation PEG feeding and ECG recording
  
  

• Support newly qualified nurses or staff returning to practice
  
  

Qualifications Experience and Skills

1 Qualifications and Experience

• Registered Nurse on the NMC Register essential
  
  

• Experience in a multidisciplinary team and working with patients with multiple pathologies
  
  

• Basic clinical skills desirable
