Job Overview
As a General Practice Nurse you will provide high-quality patient care in a welcoming professional environment. You will report to the Practice Manager and work with a team of doctors nurses and other staff. You will work independently while supporting patients with chronic illness management immunizations and health checks
Main Duties of the Job
- 
Provide safe effective and patient-centered care
 - 
Advise patients on health matters and refer to other staff as needed
 - 
Manage chronic conditions such as diabetes and respiratory illness
 - 
Conduct children immunizations cervical screenings travel health consultations and wound care
 - 
Maintain accurate clinical records and follow QOF standards
 - 
Work independently and in a team under pressure
 - 
Use EMIS Web system
 
Qualifications Experience and Skills
1 Qualifications and Experience
- 
RGN Qualified General Practice Nurse
 - 
Completed Fundamentals in General Practice Nursing Course
 - 
Experience in primary care and chronic illness management
 - 
Specialist diabetes qualification is a plus
 
2 Knowledge and Skills
- 
Knowledge of chronic illness management and QOF standards
 - 
Ability to provide safe and effective care
 - 
Skilled in immunizations screenings travel health and wound care

Strong team player with communication skills

Able to work independently and manage workload under pressure
