Job Overview
As a Registered Nurse at Sunshine House you will work in a friendly team providing high quality care to children and young people
 You will report to senior nursing staff and collaborate with colleagues to maintain a safe and inclusive environment
 The role involves flexible working including evenings and weekends
Main Duties of the Job
- 
Administer medication and monitor health conditions

Deliver tailored nursing care to each child or young person
 - 
Contribute to care planning and risk assessments
 - 
Follow safeguarding procedures to protect vulnerable individuals
 - 
Provide emotional support to children young people and families
 - 
Promote a positive and inclusive atmosphere

Work closely with families carers and multi agency teams
 
Qualifications Experience and Skills
Qualifications and Experience
- 
Registered Nurse in Child Learning Disability or General Nursing
 - 
Evidence of continuing professional development
 - 
Post registration clinical experience
 - 
Experience working with children or young people with complex health needs
 
Knowledge and Skills
- 
Strong clinical skills and healthcare planning knowledge
 - 
Understanding of child development and complex health needs
 - 
Experience using electronic care records
 - 
Ability to prioritize delegate and manage workload
