• In my last role I participated in clinical audits and quality improvement projects. I believe this is important to help us constantly learn and improve safety and care.
  
  

• I understand the importance of safe medicines management. I am familiar with handling, storing, prescribing (if permitted), and administering medicines in line with regulations.
  
  

• I follow infection‐control policies carefully and consistently, paying attention to detail in hygiene, equipment cleaning, and safe practices.
  
  

• I am flexible and adaptable. Nursing shifts often change, emergencies arise, and I can adjust to serve the needs of patients and the team.
  
  

Desirable / additional relevant experience

• I have some knowledge or exposure to safeguarding and Deprivation of Liberty processes. I appreciate how crucial these are to protect vulnerable patients.
  
  

• I have worked with stroke patients, or in rehabilitation settings, or I have learned about this through training or coursework. This gives me understanding of their special needs and challenges.
  
  

• I have basic knowledge of clinical governance — how we ensure safe, high-quality care through policies, audits, and reflection.
  
  

• Over time I want to build stronger leadership skills. I am keen to take on responsibilities such as leading a team or coordinating care.
