Job Overview
As a Band 5 Registered Nurse you will deliver high quality nursing care in a busy NHS clinical environment. You’ll work closely with a multidisciplinary team including other nurses doctors allied health professionals to care for patients. Your day to day will involve assessing patients planning their care and making sure treatments are carried out safely. You will report to a Nurse Manager or Ward Leader and may mentor junior staff or trainee nurses. The role involves both independent decision making and teamwork.
Main Duties of the Job
Your key responsibilities will include

Qualifications Experience and Skills

Registered Nurse Adult with valid NMC Nursing and Midwifery Council registration

Previous experience in clinical nursing this may include placement experience for newly qualified nurses

Experience using electronic health records documentation systems

Knowledge of nursing care processes assessment planning implementation evaluation

Good understanding of medication management and patient safety standards
