Job Overview
As a Registered Nurse Band 5 you will give safe and caring support to patients in a friendly and professional environment. You will work as part of a health team that includes doctors and care assistants. Your main focus is to provide the best care and comfort for every patient. You will report to the Senior Nurse or Ward Manager and follow the values of respect safety and teamwork.
Main Duties of the Job
• Give kind and safe nursing care based on trust guidance
• Assess plan and review each patients care
• Give medicines and record all care correctly
• Work with other staff to make sure care is joined and complete
• Support junior staff and new nurses with learning
• Keep the ward clean and safe for everyone
• Take part in training and improve your nursing skills
• Protect patient privacy and follow trust rules

• Previous experience in hospital or community care helpful
